Refresh the page you worked on and check the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Manual cache clearing<\/h4>\n<p>Sometimes you may need to clear the cache without accessing Back Office.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Using an FTP client or hosting file manager, go to the root directory of your site on the server.<\/li>\n<li>Delete <strong>content<\/strong> of the following directories (except index.php files):\n<ul>\n<li>\/cache\/smarty\/compile\/<\/li>\n<li>\/cache\/smarty\/cache\/<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are main cache directories. Also, if necessary, you can clean the following directories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\/cache\/cachefs\/<\/li>\n<li>\/img\/tmp\/<\/li>\n<li>\/themes\/your_theme\/cache\/<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Similarly, delete all files inside these directories, except for index.php files<\/li>\n<li>Delete file <strong>\/cache\/class_index.php<\/strong>. It is cache of PHP classes. You need to clear it when you make some overrides of classes and controllers.<\/li>\n<li>Cache cleared. Refresh the page you worked on and check the result.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Disabling cache<\/h4>\n<p>You can simply turn off the cache for a while, so that it doesn&#8217;t interfere with your work on the site. Don&#8217;t forget to enable it back after making changes, it significantly speed up PrestaShop!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Back Office go to the page <strong>Advanced Parameters -> Performance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the option <strong>Template compilation: Force compilation<\/strong> and toggle &#171;<strong>Cache<\/strong>&#187; option to &#171;No&#187;.<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the page in the &#171;Caching&#187; block, turn off the &#171;Use caching&#187; option.<\/li>\n<li>In the block <strong>CCC<\/strong> (COMBINE, COMPRESS AND CACHE) turn off all options. These settings affect the caching of CSS and JS files.<\/li>\n<li>Save changes<\/li>\n<li>Cache cleared.
